To pair your Socket scanner for first-time use, turn on the scanner.
Press and hold the Scan (A) and Power (B) buttons for three seconds, until you hear three beeps.
3. Turn the scanner back on.
4. On your computer press the Windows key, and type in the word Bluetooth.
5. Open the Bluetooth settings of your computer.
6. Click Add Bluetooth or Other Devices
7. If asked what kind of device, choose Mice, Keyboards, Pens, or Audio.
8. Select the Socket D760 from the next menu.
PLEASE NOTE: If the scanner is in basic mode, it may appear as a generic keyboard in your Bluetooth listing.
Mac
To pair your Socket scanner for first-time use, turn on the scanner.

Click the Apple icon () in the top left corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
Open the Bluetooth settings
Click the Add (+) button to add a device.
Select the Socket D760 from the next menu.
