A quick guide on preforming inventory adjustments when not connected to a state traceability system

In this article, we will go over how to perform inventory adjustments for the purpose of matching inventory with your on-hand quantity. Please note that all adjustments made must be accompanied by an adjustment reason, and you will need to include a description of why the adjustment was made in the notes field.

How to Adjust a Package from the Products Page (Standalone States)

To adjust a package from the Products page:

1. Click on Inventory.

2. Select Products.

3. Select the product containing the package you need to adjust.

4. In the Product Details pane, click the kebab to the right of the package you would like to adjust. This will open a drop-down menu with several options.

5. Select Adjust Package from the drop-down.

6. Enter the Actual Quantity you currently have on hand.

7. Select a reason code from the Adjustment Reasons drop-down menu.

8. Add an Adjustment Note.

9. Click Save & Close to complete the adjustment.


How to Adjust a Package from the Packages Page (Standalone States)

To adjust a package from the Packages page:

1. Click on Inventory.

2. Select Packages.

3. Select the package that needs to be adjusted.

4. In the Package Details pane, click the kebab to the right of the package you would like to adjust. This will open a drop-down menu with several options.

5. Select Adjust Package from the drop-down.

6. Enter the Actual Quantity you currently have on hand.

7. Select a reason code from the Adjustment Reasons drop-down menu.

8. Add an Adjustment Note.
